A full stair carpet, cut and fitted tread by tread with the pattern lined up and the nosing gripped properly so it doesn’t work loose.

Runners on existing wood or tiled stairs
Keep the wood or tile visible at the edges and run a carpet runner up the centre, a popular look that still needs the runner properly secured so it can’t slip.

- Existing wood or tile treads left undamaged
